Ever wonder why oatmeal is good for you? It’s not exactly a scientific secret – this is a real breakfast super food. Have you tried oatmeal in the morning yet?

Oatmeal is a great source of fiber and complex carbs. It is also low in calories.
I eat oats almost every day (My favorite: Bob’s Red Mill Steel-cut Oats).
Try it out. And if you ever get bored, here are a couple of alternatives:
- Fresh fruit salad. Get your favorite fruits and cut them up. Mix together. Nothing extra. Eat by the spoon.
- Scrambled eggs, made with a dash of olive oil. Add sliced tomatoes, ham, and greens. Pepper on top. Perfect.
Save the fancy meals for later. Breakfast is all about getting your body jumpstarted as soon as you wake up.
